how can I make the files i download go directly into itunes?

Ive tried just about everything, I think. I want the song i download in limewre to go directly into the itunes library. I am running osx. Thanks.

But what you then have to do is either drag the mp3 file into the iTunes window or select "Add to Library..." from the file menu. There unfortunatly is no way for iTunes to "auto-recognize" any new files placed in the Library folder.
