Ever since I got a pop-up window saying to downloaded the "newest Limewire version 2.7" my Limewire service has been working extremely slowly. It can take sometimes upto a minute for me to even be able to type in a title because the response is so slow. I don't think it has to do with my internet connection, because everything else regarding my internet seems to be working fine. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? If you know ANYTHING that can help me, please let me know! I really really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

It's because LimeWire now "hashes" your shared files. This takes alot of time. The program will run very slow and may crash. I finally gave up and chose File > Disconnect and then just walked away. I let it finish hashing. Now it works normally.
