I'm guessing you mean, how can you open them? Well you open them with QuickTime.. Just double click the mpg file or open the file within QuickTime. That should do it for ya

Be careful. Some jpg files are actually jpg2 format, which QuickTime happily tries to play, and freezes. You can usually exit with a forced-quit, but if LimeWire is running, you usually lose all partial and queued downloads, or end up restarting files that seem ok until you go to play/unstuff them. Then bad luck! This often occurrs if you try and play partial downloads, to see what they're like. Media player is even worse. It totally freezes with some .asf files. Absolutely no indication from either. I've found a way around this dilemma, and have half finished instructions on how to minimize damage. Should be finished in 48 hrs.
