![]() Tried installing several times...LW will launch but won't respond to commands and is very difficult to quit...Anyone have an installer for an earlier version, which was running fine before I tried to upgrade? |

![]() Limewire 2.8.5 Pro caused me some problems in OSX 10.2.3 - crashes and filing error reports - that weren't there in 2.7, but the upgrade from 10.1.5 to 10.2 and then to 10.2.3 caused no changes in behavior. I did, however, upgrade to Limewire 2.8.5 *after* installing X 10.2.3. Question is, why does the bug report acknowledgment email say to retrograde the install to 2.7? Is this possible without losing all my settings - will the old install over the new, as though it were an upgrade? Won't try it unless I know...too much trouble! |

![]() I am also having the same problem with LimeWire 2.8.x with OS 10.2.x. The 2.7 version I had worked fine, as soon as I went to 2.8 it will begin the launch process but then freeze the entire computer - I have to hit the Reset button to restart. In another posting, I found this link to the general download directory, seems to have any earlier version you may want. http://www9.limewire.com:82/download/ I'm downloading 2.7.13 now. Hopefully this will work...will post back and let you know. Anghara |
