 Hello! Songs that at first does not want to be played in iTunes but rather with another application usually have another resource ID asscoiated with that file. Just try this open up iTunes and the in one of your playlists just drag and drop the file in one of those and it should start to play the song and be part of your playlist. Another optin is to use the Add To Library option inside iTunes. From the File menu select Add To library and then navigate to the file in question and select it then just look the file up in iTunes Libary listing and then select it and it should start to play just fine.
