some files dont go to itunes

some songs dont go to my itunes and thus I cant burn the cd. They go to quick time (QTV). What do I need to change my settings so they all are downloaded to itunes???

Just drag your files into your itunes library, and go to itunes's preferences and set it as the default MP3 application.

i am unable to drag the file over to the itunes. How do u do that? Also, this happened with about 5 songs out of 58? why?

I don't understand why you are unable to do this. Find where the files are on your harddrive. Select them. Drag them onto the itunes library icon in the itunes playlist.

make sure the file has .mp3 tagged on it......otherwise you cannot drag and drop it. A lot of times it wont even open. You can just edit the name of the file.....delete some of what it is already called to make room for the .mp3

Having the .mp3 extension at the end shouldn't matter. What version of itunes are you using?

My trying it won't help. My system configuration is very different than yours. Could you please give some exact details of what you are doing, and what is happening?

i am downloading the song and then it says completed on bottom. I then press launch and it launches it only on the library and is not transferred over to itunes. I did another song, Hit with my best shot and that one worked on the itunes.Could it possible that blackeyed peas cant be burned on a CD??? thanks for helping me through this!!!!
