Default Limewire will not open, because Limewire could not be found.

A little help, please? I'm running Mac OS 9.1, and I've downloaded Limewire at least 3 tiems now. It installs fine and dandy, no problems at all, but everytime I try to open it, I get the following message:

"The application "Limewire" could not open, because "Limewire" could not be found."

Now I KNOW all the files are in the same folder. I have no idea why it does this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you're opening Limewire from an alias (shortcut) or an outdated dock alias. Try opening it directly from the application.

I am. If it was an alias, it would have two more buttons instead of "OK:" they would be "Delete Alias" or "Fix Alias." Don't have them. Been opening it straight from the Limewire folder. ;/

That sounds bizzare. It sounds as if something went wrong during installation. Try doing a full uninstall, and delete everything off of your harddrive that has "lime" in it. Do a search for "lime", delete all the limewire stuff, and then install again.
