After installing LimeWire Basic on Mac OS 9.2 it would show "Limewire" as a document and not an application, no icon and it would not open as the program. Instead it would ask me what program I would like to view it in.
I've re-downloaded and re-installed it several times. I've deleted everything that has to do with LimeWire on my computer and re-installed. None of which worked. Before this problem began I had another problem where it wouldnt use the Java Runtime I had, it would crash on opening the installer. So I got the new one, after installing the newer MRJ the installer opened properly but then the problem above started. Anything I can do to fix this?

Yes I do have the latest carbon lib.
Do you know of any other ways to solve this problem or what might be causing it?

Drag the document and drop it over your Stuffit expander.
You'll see the Installer's Icon after unstuff it. |

TycoonF, I already expanded the .bin file and installed Limewire, that isn't the problem... The problem is after I install it, it shows "Limewire" as a doc and not an app.
