 what influences the speed files are recognized as shared? hello all tried putting more files in the shared library. the total number of files is calculated fairly quickly (on the bottom left corner of the window 2 hours ago is said something like "Sharing 0/615 files") but the number of actually shared files increases VERY slowly (i.e. the first number, after 2 hours it now says "Sharing 11/615 files"). Is this too many files? Do I have to allocate more memory? May sneezing twice help? I am using a G4 sawtooth with MacOS 9.1 and 1 GB of RAM (or thereabouts) and am otherwise well-behaved.
