Just wondering how I can get my computer to download song files in quictime instead of Destiny Player (another player I have on my computer)

You don't download them in a particular player format but you specify in which player you want the files to play AFTER the download.
To do that, ctrl-click on the files and go to the get info (or click the file and search for the get info option in the tabs on the top of the screen) where you'll find an "open with" drop menu. Click that and you can specify which app will be the default app to open this type of file.
