i am new to lw and i am using os8.6 on a clamshell laptop my downloads always verify but only save about 1 out of six to my library folder i like lw setup but this sucks please help the other completed downloads seem to be lost and i can't find them anywhere

The other downloads seem lost? Do you mean the downloads that haven't saved? If so then they aren't lost. They are probably in the incompletes folder still. They just haven't gotten in the Shared folder. Try either killing these dlds then runing a search for the exact filename and, when you find the exact same dld, relaunching the dld by double clicking the file, or, if that doesn't work, selecting one of the files that is stuck in the Saving process, then clicking Launch. After that, go to the Incomplete folder in the Finder and find the files (find the one that is labeled "Preview-<filename>" and the one that has T and a random number before the filename). Try playing them. If they play, transfer them out ot the Incompletes folder and into the Shared (if the one with T######## plays, then keep that because it is the original dld)

Oh, I forgot. In the case you meant that you can't see the Shared folder in the Lirbrary pane of LW, then that means that you probably have stopped sharing.
To remedy that, click Limewire then Options and go to Saving. It will indicate the location of the Shared folder in the Finder (the folder where all the dlds are saved. There can be only one at a time).
