 zeppy Haven't been checking posts lately, sorry. I run OS9 on my mac. Have you thought about trying SoundAppPPC? Until the advent of "X" and the mp4 formats, it was probably one of the best free sound converters ever made for mac. I haven't used it for awhile; but, anything is worth a shot these days. P.S. SoundAppPPC came out a while back but was updated and should work with OS8.6. By the way 8.6 was the best "work horse" OS put out by mac. Not a speed demon, but definitely reliable.
