 Re: Mac OSX error 39 Mac OSX error 39 appears due to file system corruption and thus to repair it you need to format the hard drive. After this http://www.gnutellaforums.com software is the best to opt for which is capable to recover entire data lost after formatting. Sleepless edit: When someone new posts in a 7 year old thread I check the links, and that site really wasn't informative about the software. Removed link.
