 Really, really slow -- please help Prior to some arbitrary moment in time, my LW Pro 4.0.2 was sailing along. Now, it is EXCRUTIATINGLY slow. Commands are executed a minute later, if at all. Pull down menus are so painful to use that they're almost useless. I've tried allocating much more memory for the application, cutting uploads way down. I don't believe it's my Java. I'm on a Mac G3, OS 9.2 with a cable modem. Should have plenty of horsepower to run the program. If this is the way it has to be, then fine, but if there is something I can do to regain the speed I first had when I purchased LW Pro, I'd be grateful to know what it is.  |
