help with mp3 downloads

ok ive downloaded hundreds of mp3s in the past. But tonight i download my mp3, click launch, and nothing happens. It usually opens Itunes and plays automatically. So when I check it in my drive it shows it as a document instead of an itunes document (you know with the little blue music note). So I figured it was a limewire issue and downloaded a couple of .wav files and mpg/mpegs. Well the wavs and videos opened as usual in quicktime and alls ok there just seems to be mp3s. Any ideas. im using OS 9.2.2 and the classic (frozen) version of limewire. Please help!!!

Have a look at the Stickies at the top of this section & look for the one about the Blank document issue. There's your answers. BTW I have a program called iTuner. You simply drag & drop the audio file onto iTuner & it adopts the iTunes icon & attributes. If you want it, (it's no longer made or available) then send me a pm.
