i am having the same problem i have been trying to delete some files and it says i cant they are being used in other applications i have tried restarting my computer and every thing and other suggestions?

I know this isn't very helpful, but I'm having the same exact problem deleting my files. They are being used in another application, such as??????
What can we do?! |

Try: re-start your mac from a CD, and throw away the unwanted files. andy
