limewire files in itunes
Everytime i open limewire, a folder opens up in itunes that shows my limewire files not only on my computer but on the other computers my family has. Is there a way that i can stop this from happening or at least stop it from opening up on my relatives' computers?

There's 2 ways. One is to go to LW's preferences, (keyboard short-cut) : ⌘ , & select iTunes -> Sharing & disable the options.
The other way is to open iTunes, open preferences, click on Sharing & disable this option.

limewire into itunes
i have the opposite problem. i can't see the limewire's music in itunes, i already selected the option of "share my music" in options and the option "look for shared music" in itunes. i even tried the option of compability mode in limewire

Did you fill in the details in the share section in LW? I think you need to re-start LW for it to take effect.
