When I installed a previous version of Limewire, during the scan for files it discovered some directory pointing to an external back-up CD that I had made. Now each time I launch Limewire, it asks me to insert this disk. I have uninstalled Limewire and removed every visible file I can think of. I have then reinstalled a new version, but I continue to be prompted to "insert disk..."
Is there some invisible file(s) I should search for? Any ideas? Thanks! |

S CA dynamic CD art is the disk it is asking for>>>> I would like that question answered too. When I launch the software, the Limewire intro window opens and then it starts asking for a disk. HELP!

On my mac, it is asking (by name) for a CD I burned as a back-up. Somehow it discovered a reference to this disk when it did the initial hard drive search for files to share. I want to find out how to make it stop asking ...

Try Rebuilding your desktop by starting up the mac with the option key held down.
This will resestablish the computers "knowledge" of where your apps are. Hope this works |
