The answers for mac may well be different for windows xp. For windows (& perhaps mac) see these links The way to fix the Blank screen on startup, .... GeoForce 3D setting, .... Fix for LW interface blank spots problem, .... click LW icon & it begins to initialize but then stops and nothing happens, .... LW Language option showing blank screen
