Fully connected, searching, but my results are blank

I just recently purchased limewire pro and I've been able to download just a couple of things. Most of the time, my connection says "turbo charged" so I don't understand why I can't download anything. I'll type something into the search field and click on search, but as soon as I do that, either I don't get a window, which I don't know if that means it's not searching, or it opens a search window with the subject on top, but nothing shows up. The search bar increases till I notice that it's searched completely, but I have no results.
I've tried searching in the different categories and they all end up the same. I don't know what to do to fix it. If anyone could help me, that would be incredible.

See these links for tips: 1. How to find music

2. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...45&postcount=2 (searching)

3. Go to prefs, Searching & choose to show all type of connections/speeds & qualities.

4. License requirement (click on link)

5. Go to Preferences, Advanced, Performance & disable Ultrapeer, but make sure the other two are not ticked.

6. (a) Go to Preferences, Filters, Junk & turn the Junk filter dial near to but not exactly at far left. (b) Go to Preferences, Filters, Content & make sure that option is not ticked.

BTW sorry for the late reply.

Yes knowing which OS you're running helps a great deal. Even in OSX, each particular OSX version has its own issues re: LW

Delete the LW preferences folder whilst LW is CLOSED, found here: Macintosh HD/System Folder/Preferences/.limewire
