iMac G5 1st generation with PPC OS 10.4.11.
I have read and reread several posts on the subject. I tried several types of unarchival software to no avail. All of them unarchived to an .exe file. Is there one that will open .zip file into a usable format. And it's not just one .zip file, it's ALL of them, and this for the last 4 years!! Could it be that this is because all the files are archived using MacIntel Macs? I hope you guys and/or dolls can help me resolve this. jb99 |

If it's an exe file you get, then it's a windows program (or virus). Generally mac programs will have mac or osx in their title to help set them apart from the windows programs.
![]() Mac's archive helper will unarchive most zip files. For anything else I use stuffit expander. But if you can't open it, then obviously something wrong with the file I'd suggest. |
