Hi,
I have a windows 98SE with about 1200 mp3's (almost 4GB) on it. I just bought a new PC (XP) and would like some input as to getting all the music to the new PC. Please try to explain it very simply as I am technially challenged!! LOL The 98 goes through WINDOWS and the new one goes through DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS. Thanks in advance for any assistance. considering the hassles of networking with 98se, I would just burn the mp3s to a data disc (i.e. they will stay in mp3 format and NOT be converted to .wav) and put the cd into the new computers drive and move them where you wish...
