Installing/running LW on Windows 8.1 desktop

I had LW PRO 4.16.7 installed on my previous Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit 2005 Dell desktop PC, and also installed the connection startup utility program offered on this forum to make LW connect successfully/quickly. I could only run versions 4.xx of LW to be able to also run the most updated versions of Java at the same time. Today, I'm having delivered a brand new HP Windows 8.1 (not the Pro or RT O.S. versions) 64-bit desktop tower, that I intend to set to boot up by-default in desktop mode as I don't have any kind of portable computers/devices, nor a touch screen. I do have a touchpad mouse that recognizes all the Windows 8 gesture commands, as well as a regular mouse. I also will keep the most up-to-date versions of Java installed ongoingly. What versions of LW PRO (I want a PRO version) will run on Windows 8.1 64-bit O.S., and is the added connection startup utility also needed with it/them? Thank you for your help.
