Limewire for Vista

Can someone help me out using Limewire on Windows Vista!?!? I have always used limewire and now that I upgraded my laptop and it has Vista, I can not get limewire to work at all.

I tried downloading it and uninstalling it and re-downloading it but I get an icon on my desktop that will not work.
