 I am so confused. I just bought a new laptop with Vista and I can't get Limewire to work. I have gone through this thread and tried everything. I THINK I downloaded Java 6 JRE and I THINK I properly configured the ports on my router for port forwarding and upnp forwarding. Nothing has worked. At one point I even disabled the windows, mcafee and my linksys router firewalls. When signing in to Limewire it still shows a firewall and I can't connect. The weird thing is whenever Limewire is open, I can't access the internet through my browser. I have no idea what to do.  |
