Default unable to connect to LW

Hello,

I am unable to connect to limewire. I was able to up to 2 months ago and i really didnt have to work on my settings. Suddenly I was no longer able to connect. Please see details below

1. OS version: Window Vista
2. Windows Firewall no antivirus
3. ram : 2046MB
4. Hard Disk space available: 129GB
5. broadband
6. Intel (R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection
7. connecting from home
8. LimeWire 4.12.11 & Java 1.6.0
9. ISP provider: Before Time Warner now not sure i get connection through the building where i live but i started having the problem since earlier
10. http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page says: 'Your test worked!'
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? no
12. I was able to connect when i first used limewire a few months back then i was no longer able to connect although i had no made any changes with anything
13. Yes i see a brick wall

Also i dont have an antivirus. I have Spybot Search and Destroy -I even try uninstalling it but I still couldnt run limewire.

Please let me know if there is anything i can do. I have checked that my firewall shows limewire as an exception.

Are you living in an apartment complex? Try & find out for sure who the building's ISP is. There might be a firewall associated with your building's internet...can you ask the manager or whoever's in charge of internet access?

You could try changing ports. In LW go tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Change LW's listening port to 64049, or something in the range of 49152 - 65535.

You should think about getting an AV program There are good, free ones available which won't interfere with LW. Check these out.

avast!
