15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Norton | If you are using Norton, make sure your Vista firewall is turned off. Keep in mind every time you update either LW or Norton, you need to reconfigure it to allow LW in the firewall. So delete the previous LW firewall rule in Norton and re-add it.
It sounds to me however your main problem is blocked ports, either due to router or ISP. Try a connection port between 49152 - 65535. A good one to try is port 64049. Go to LW's menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Firewalls & change setting to Manual & set the port as suggested.  |
