 Your Router has a Nat Firewall which is more than likely stopping your connection...You will have to Port Forward to allow limewire through... These are your instructions Port Forwarding for the Netgear DG834G Also Tiscali are known for blocking p2p bandwidth during peak hours... ::. Kitz - ISP Caps, FUPs and Prices .::

| OK thanks I will try that this afternoon. But I was just wondering how is the firewall in the router the problem only for my laptop with Vista on it and not the other one with XP, which works fine at home with the same set up? I'll let you know how I get on. Senorita |

| OK so I've tried what was suggested above and still nothing has changed and I'm experiencing the same probs even with the latest version of LW. Can it possibly be anything else or have I tried everything that anyone can think of? Im so glad my old laptop lets it connect but I don't really want to be using two laptops all the time. I welcome any suggestions! thanks. Senorita |
