i downloaded a movie but it has no sound it says i need Direct show decoder i dont know if i did something wrong please help.

Hi Kay, It sounds like a Codec problem. What media player are you using.

You could try this.

If your using XP try this.

Download XP Codec Pack 2.0.8 - XP Codec Pack is one of the most complete codec pack.

Might try VLC Media Player. Has Codecs built in.
