well both zone alarm and windows firewall are both running, and both have exceptions for lime wire to allow full access.

i attempted port forwarding, but i know that you cannot use a dynamic ip, so you must set up static ip... I did this on my laptop, but its not setup for static ip on the router configuration.. does the router also need a static ip to be setup?

thirdly im pretty sure its not my ISP, as i said in the post i have another computer on my home network which connects with lime wire with no problems and have downloaded files successfully.
