Try the steps 5 & 7 with compatibility mode: Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link). Also delete the LW preferences http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html

Changing names of drives & folders can affect things. Permissions may have changed also.

I think LW is vista needs java 1.6
