![]() Uninstall ZA & LW (start > all programs > LW > use the uninstall option). Download the LW offline installer (when you click to download & the dialog box pops up, cancel that & use the option to download the offline installer) & reinstall LW. Once that's done, reinstall ZA. That's fixed things for some Vista users. Next, delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location). Fixes for LimeWire This will change all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things. Download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions before you install this one. Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 If it turns out that Java's not the problem, it's easy enough to install the latest update again. LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within the router should all be the same number. |
