My question to you all is this, i can only download and veiw MPEG files, not avi or any other format. What would i need to be able to veiw these files as it would triple what movies i could download and watch. Thanks for you time guys and gals

What Media Player are you using?? I think that would be something you would have to look at in the Player. It should tell you what it's capable of, what type files it will play.
Might take a look at this player. They claim it's one of the best. I don't use it so I can't speak on it. See Link Below. VLC media player - Overview Hope this helps

I had the same problem with windows vista. The media player WILL NOT play anything but mpg. I dl'ed the codec package for vista and it didn't work I had to use VLC and now I can watch anything.
