For some reason I keep trying to use LimeWire and it just KILLS my connection... I am using Vista Home Basic, I dont have McAfee or w/e it is. I have LiveCare and Windows Defender, How can I fix this?

To disable ultrapeer capabilities in new versions, tools > options > advanced > performance. While you're there, also disable Mojito DHT capabilities & see if that helps, too.
