LW stopped working - pleaseee help
 

Hey
LW had been working fine up to a few days ago. Now it never moves beyond "loading old downloads" occasionally it will go to "loading old messages". I have version 4.16.2 - what going on?

i use windows vista ultimate
no security (i had mcafee security but deleted it)
2G ram
95 gb free
cable (optimum)
lynksys via ethernet (not wireless)
LW 4.16.2, java 1.6.0
the test worked.
i have a firewall (Windows firewall)- but LW has full access
i live in the US.
my internet connection is working and is strong.
I have restarted my pc tons of times and still nothing.
I would appreciate any help.
I'm losing my mind trying to get this to work.
Bearshare and Shareaza work but LW has a ton more files.


ALSO, LW won't shut down unless I use task manager and have to manually end the program by myself.

You sound like you may have a virus...

Try the tips in this thread and see if that helps...

I tried doing the whole BFU thing and it still doesnt work.. anyone have any other suggestions?
