Hi new to the Forum, really joined to see if I could solve my problem, but it seems everyone on this thread has the same as I have, Limewire working great until I had to renew my subs. then I downloaded it again and since then, have uninstalled it several time, reinstalled, shut it down it keeps popping up, get message saying my folders have been deleted, then | got a whole lot of files that I hadnt downloade (most of them I think going by the titles were porn) quite frightening, I dont know what to do, apart from uninstalling it, then I have lost my money as I paid for the Pro version, I have sent numerous messages to Limewire but nothing back. |

Further to my last post, have uninstalled it a couple of times more, but then I uninstalled everything with Limewire, registry as well, then I downloaded it from C/Net (just the basic one) then after installing this (I know it takes up a lot of time) I upgraded to Pro (which is what I had before) (click on "I have had Pro before") thats if you did, you have to give your e-mail address. When I did all this and it all downloaded Limewire started up, normally, when I shut down it stayed shut, no error messages, everything running smoothly (so far) hope this helps someone (Im pleased) |
