Lord of the Rings has a distinguished reputation

Remove all versions of Java on your computer. Then reinstall Java using ONLY specifically the OFFLINE installer: Download Java software from Sun Microsystems

If still problems, (a) go to Start menu > Programs > LW > Uninstall. Reinstall LW using the OFFLINE installer, not the recommended one. (b) See Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link)
