Vista gives everybody that expects to be in control of their own computer a hard time.

My advice would be to go back to XP, alternatively look up XP Black on the web. It's made by some guys that got tired of all the new VISTA security issues. It is XP but has some of the more wanted VISTA features.

I haven't tried it myself as I am quite happy with my XP Pro, but I have heard good things about it.

try setting defaults in VISTA. start>default>set your default programs..i use wmp 11.hope this helps.
