I'm going to assume you actually copied the mp3 files onto your flash drive...

since you already have LW downloaded (and I assume installed) you should have copied those files from the flash drive into your shared folder....sorry, I'm not a Vista or LW user, so I can't give specifics as to where your shared folder is, nor can I comment on just how exactly you made your mistake...you should be able to control where the files went...perhaps you made the mistake of letting Vista take control of the situation...I suspect you had the opportunity of canceling whatever Vista tried to do...as a note, the flash drive should show up in My Computer as a separate drive which you can open up and move files out of..

Hey, thanks~ but, I actually don't have an MP3 player so not sure WHAT file they're actually IN now but yes, they are on in my computer but not actually under MyComputer or MyDocuments (though Vista may call that something else? I dunno. I'm very bad w/computers). Surprised I got this far w/a flashdrive but found a good website about transferring data...
anyways, somehow they are now in a Folder that says Limewire but it's actually on Windows Media Player as a PLAYLIST so it's like they're STUCK? BUT, they are all individualized so seems like I should be able to move them somehow into Limewire's library?
I can still try another way to transfer the songs as they're still on the old pc> I can use the flashdrive again if someone knows how to do it to put it onto Limewire instead of God knows where they're at now...
There must be some computer tech heads out there who'd know how to do this!?
