You probably need to d/load some codecs for the files to play properly. Do they play at all when you try them? This thread has links to different codec packs you can d/load. Try the one for vista: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/tips-t...p3-fixers.html

Another option is to try a different player. Try using VLC media player, it has the codecs built in and will play most file types. It's a good player to keep around for those stubborn files that you can't get to play.
