Default Limewire Pro reverts to previous basic version

Hi,

We are running Vista and have recently upgraded to Limewire Pro 4.18. However, after everytime we shut down Limewire, the next time we restart it, it reverts back to version 4.14 Basic. We have tried to uninstall all previous versions but the same problem occurs. We have also deleted some registry keys (but not necessarily all of them) with no success. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

When updating to LW 4.18 & especially Pro, it can be wise to delete the old LW preferences folder. Just make a note of important settings first however because you will need to re-add all your settings. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html

Also, do a computer search for LimeWire ... see how many applications show.

If necessary, see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/333278-post2.html however, use your Pro installer, not the one in the link shown.
