I cannot drag and drop files from either download or saved files in Limewire to ITunes - circle with slash never changes to + sign signaling download. I can't think of any changes to my system recently and I can't find anything in settings for either. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks.

I think LW stopped the ability for that to be able to happen with iTunes. Else it's a change in the newer iTunes versions. Some other people also complained of same issue. See other methods here How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link}.

Thank you. I had already read the strings and checked all the boxes.
This morning, it started allowing me to transfer files again. Go figure. |

There you go. ![]() The ability of LW to auto transfer files to iTunes for windows users might suffer similar problems Mac OSX users have had for many years; if LW has been very busy & on for a long time, sometimes the transferring stops. Seems the communication gets broken somehow. The answers are to either close & re-open LW, else go to LW's preferences (options I mean), turn option for auto transfer to iTunes off, press Apply button, Then re-enable it again which usually fixes it.

Thanks again. It seems to be working fine now. I also downloaded the latest version.

oh ... only the most recent LW version has ability to auto-add songs to iTunes for windows users. LW 4 could only add playlist to iTunes.
