Default Cannot drag files to ITunes

I cannot drag and drop files from either download or saved files in Limewire to ITunes - circle with slash never changes to + sign signaling download. I can't think of any changes to my system recently and I can't find anything in settings for either. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks.

Paul

I think LW stopped the ability for that to be able to happen with iTunes. Else it's a change in the newer iTunes versions. Some other people also complained of same issue. See other methods here How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link}.

Thank you. I had already read the strings and checked all the boxes.

This morning, it started allowing me to transfer files again. Go figure.

lol There you go.

The ability of LW to auto transfer files to iTunes for windows users might suffer similar problems Mac OSX users have had for many years; if LW has been very busy & on for a long time, sometimes the transferring stops. Seems the communication gets broken somehow. The answers are to either close & re-open LW, else go to LW's preferences (options I mean), turn option for auto transfer to iTunes off, press Apply button, Then re-enable it again which usually fixes it.

Thanks again. It seems to be working fine now. I also downloaded the latest version.

oh ... only the most recent LW version has ability to auto-add songs to iTunes for windows users. LW 4 could only add playlist to iTunes.
