From what I've seen Belkins are better port forwarded. You could do this for this particular laptop. Important issue is that both your LW's use a different port to both connect & listen through. eg: use 6346 for old computer, perhaps 64049 for the one you port forward.
Make sure your Vista firewall has an exception for LW; Setting up an exception for LimeWire in your software firewall (click in link)
With LW 5, you can simply delete the gnutella.net file in the preferences folder. LW 5 will create a fresh one. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html & gnutella.net file will be inside the LW preferences folder. |
