I just upgraded to Limewire Pro, but for some reason none of my downloads will scan for viruses. It gives me this message:
could not be inspected because the virus scanner is still downloading its first set of virus definitions. LimeWire Anti-Virus protection is powered by AVG Ive tried reinstalling limewire and it starts to download the virus definitions then just dissapears. After that when I download something....it will download, but with a little i next to the file downloaded. When you click on the i the message above appears. The platform is windows 7. |

Virus definitions & updates are usually the first thing that LW downloads as soon as you open it. To scan files, you need to have that option checked in Tools -> Options -> Transfers, & check option for AVG to scan files.
A little i beside the file name? Sorry I missed that part. What are the file sizes? And what kind of file are you downloading? Are they gnutella network files or torrent files?
