I just purchased LimeWire 2.3.3 Pro. I have some Celtic MP3s from a long time ago and decided to share.

The problem is, every time I try to annotate one of the songs, I get an error message "Internal document Error.Data could not be saved" whenever I press the Save button.

I can edit annotation for things I download just fine. I just cannot add an annotation.

What would cause this? Is there some trick to adding an annotation that I'm missing?

My files aren't read-only. I have my shared directory on a different partition than LimeWire. I did move some files around within the shared subdirectories while LimeWire was running, but a refresh got it straight again. Might that be part of the problem?

It's working here. Guess you should try restarting LimeWire and retry annotating the file. If the problem persists, maybe the filename is causing an error. Does it contain any weird characters?
