I downloaded and installed LimeWare Pro, which installed 1.3.x of Java. I then followed the advice on the page and installed 1.4.x of Java for a performance boost.
Can I "uninstall" 1.3, or does 1.4 sit on top of it? Also, how can I tell from within LimeWire which version of Java it's using? |

Hi. I'm curious where did you see that option? I just downloaded Limewire a few days ago and didn't see an option for an updated Java plug in. And if anything needs a performance boost, it's Limewire. Let me know if it helped. Thanks, Joe

There should be a Java Icon in your control panel (if you have Sun Java). You can find your version there.
I don't know how to tell this from Limewire though. -Brian |
