On my computer something called Jasc Paintshop Pro has popped up in place of the traditional Picture player. If anyone knows how to restore the original picture viewer, please submit a response.

Jasc Paint Shop Pro is a grafics/image software which is really popular. when you install it, some file formats will be linked to it and therefore open with it.
you can reassociate the files in the windows explorer (folder) options.

if you have got Jasc on your system you must have installed it.
