Just installed Pro version of limewire 2.4.4 and its going mad with full windows refreshes. It used to send the window grey for a second or 2 before redrawing on the older version but now it seems to flash on and off like mad. Is anyone else having this problem? Or know how to solve it?

Hello!
If you are using XP or 2000 Try this and see if it helps: Open the task manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE. Go to the processes tab. Find javaw.exe and right click on it. Change the priority to low, and your system should be acting normal and responsive again.

Try downloading the latest Java client from sun microsystems 1.4 i think they're up to. get it here http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html
That should help too ... had a similar problem with one of my servers and that seemed to correct it. |
