i downloaded limewire last night and it is not working correctly. I have installed it twice. On the left hand column where the search option is I can not do a search. The words are not complete. It seems the window is not complete. What are my options?

did you install the latest Java before you installed LimeWire? You may want to try the LimeWire 2.5 beta as well.

The solution to this problem is simple:

If you look closely you will find little arrow heads between the download area and the search result area but also between the search result and download area and the search field area.You will also find that between different fields there are dotted bars and if you hold down your mouse button on these bars you will see that the mouse cursor turns into a different symbol and by dragging you will see a black line moving indicating that you are adjusting the individual window size's.You can adjust it the way you like it.And by using the small arrow heads you can open and contract individual window fields completely all at once.

What you should do is to contract/expand the search field area a little bit so that all its content can be displayed.

I dunno, the problem seems like his window is not drawing correctly. Perhaps a screenie would be good? (Print Scrn button, and paste into image program)
